How To Relax And Release Tension In The Golf Swing

One of the biggest causes for poor ball striking a mechanics is when we see players get stuck in a static position over the golf ball. 

It’s very common that before taking the club away, you’ll see golfers spent a few seconds processing and thinking what they’re about to do. When they’re doing this, their body is motionless and as time goes on, it just builds unnecessary tension throughout the body.

The best golfers in the world do the opposite; they’re in constant motion. The club head is always waggling back and forth, the arms may be moving back and forth towards them, and the feet as well. They juggle their pressure between their left foot and their right foot and by doing so, they stay dynamic and they produce an athletic motion which is reacting to the target in front of them.

Next time you’re out on the course, try implementing some of these little movements and I’m sure it will help upgrade your ball striking ability to a whole new level.
